What we offer

The Church Communicator's Playbook is a free ebook for church communicators, coordinators, and solo communicators at small and mid-size churches. The AI Skills Pack is an optional, one-time-purchase companion product: 24 AI skills built to run inside the AI tool of your choice, Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.

The free ebook

The ebook is provided free of charge for your personal and ministry use. You may share the sign-up link freely. You may not resell, redistribute copies for profit, or claim authorship of the material. The frameworks, names, and case studies in the book (including but not limited to the Communicator's Trifecta, Own / Influence / Support, and the Communication Levels) are original works and may be referenced with attribution but not reproduced wholesale without permission.

The AI Skills Pack

• License. Purchasing the Skills Pack grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the skills for your own ministry or church context. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the files outside your organization.
• Requires your own AI account. The Skills Pack is designed to run inside an AI account you create and maintain directly with the provider of your choice, Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), or Gemini (Google), including their free tiers. Your use of that AI tool itself is governed entirely by its provider's own terms of service, separate from these terms. We are not responsible for those providers' pricing, availability, or changes to their products.
• Delivery. The Skills Pack is delivered digitally and instantly. There is no physical shipment.
• All sales are final. Because the Skills Pack is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable. This applies regardless of whether you've used, downloaded, or installed the skills. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from receiving or accessing your purchase, contact us at hello@churchcommplaybook.com and we'll resolve the delivery issue; this is a fulfillment fix, not a refund exception.

Use of AI-generated content

The Skills Pack helps draft, edit, and organize communications using AI. Consistent with the Playbook's own philosophy (see Chapter 5), AI output is a starting point, not a finished product. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and approving any content generated with the Skills Pack before it is published or sent on behalf of your church. We make no guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, theologically appropriate for your context, or free of errors.

Not professional advice

Everything on this site, in the ebook, and in the Skills Pack is educational and informational. It is not legal, tax, HR, employment, or pastoral/counseling advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from your own church leadership, denominational authority, attorney, or other qualified professional for your specific situation.

Intellectual property

The website, ebook text, frameworks, branding, and Skills Pack content are the copyrighted property of Josh King unless otherwise noted. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

Third-party services

This site relies on third-party services, including Kit (email delivery), a payment processor (for Skills Pack purchases), Google Fonts, and the AI provider you choose to run the Skills Pack in (Claude/Anthropic, ChatGPT/OpenAI, or Gemini/Google). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third-party services, which are governed by their own separate terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site, ebook, and Skills Pack are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee any specific outcome, growth metric, or result from using the frameworks or tools described here.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the site, ebook, or Skills Pack is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for the free ebook, is $0).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
